Project brief

What are your goals for this project?

A cleaner site that's easier to update ourselves.

Who is this for?

Existing customers booking a repair online.

Waiting on an answer…

You'll get an email the moment they submit — every answer laid out on your project page.

You know this part of the process, too.

Before any real work starts, you need information from your client — usually scattered across emails, a phone call, a PDF questionnaire nobody quite fills in properly, or all three. Brief replaces that with one link and one structured set of answers, ready before you open a single file.

How it works

  1. Create a project

Start a new Brief for your client — takes a few seconds, uses the same client and project you're already tracking in Fyrro.

  2. Set your questions

Start from scratch, one of Fyrro's starter templates (web design, graphic design, SEO discovery), or a template you've saved yourself — then edit it — add, remove, rename, reorder — to fit the kind of work this project actually is.

  3. Share one link

No account for your client, no password. They open the link and start answering immediately.

  4. They answer and submit

One structured set of answers, submitted once — not a half-finished thread you have to keep chasing.

  5. You get notified

An email the moment they submit, with every answer laid out on your project page.

Built for a real answer, fast

Works for any kind of project

Not a fixed web-design questionnaire — the question list is generic by default and fully editable, so it fits a website brief, an SEO discovery call, a logo commission, or anything else you take on.

Your questions, not a generic form

Add, remove, rename, and reorder questions before you share the link — the client only ever sees what's actually relevant to their project.

No account for your client

Same model as Pinpoint and Studio: an unguessable shareable link is the only credential. They open it and start answering immediately.

One clear, final answer

Once your client submits, their answers lock in place — a settled starting point for the work, not a living document that keeps shifting underneath you.

Know the moment they've answered

You're emailed as soon as they submit — no refreshing a dashboard to check whether the brief came back yet.

See when they've opened it

Know exactly when your client first opened the link and when they were last looking at it, and send a reminder straight from your project page if it's gone quiet. Pro and Agency.

Start from a template

Fyrro's own starter templates — web design, graphic design, SEO discovery — or save your own go-to question list once and reuse it on every project of that kind, instead of rebuilding it from scratch every time.

Who it's for

Freelance designers, developers, and small agencies who want real project requirements before they start — instead of piecing them together from a call, an email chain, and whatever the client happened to attach.

FAQ

Does my client need to sign up for anything?

No. The link is the credential — they open it and start answering. Nothing to install, no account to create.

Can I use this for something other than a website project?

Yes — that's the point. The default question list is generic, and you can edit it per project, so it works just as well for an SEO discovery brief, a logo commission, or anything else you take on.

Can my client come back and change an answer after they've submitted?

Not directly — once they submit, their answers lock in place so you're working from a settled starting point. If something needs to change, that's a quick follow-up conversation, not a form to reopen.

What if the notification email doesn't arrive?

Notification emails are best-effort. If one fails to send, your client's answers are still saved and visible on your project page — you just won't get pinged, so it's worth checking the page if you're expecting a response.

Is this available in languages other than English?

Not yet — Brief is English-only for now, same current scope as the rest of the suite's newer tools.

Do I have to pay to save a template?

No — everyone can save at least one template on the Free plan, plus use any of Fyrro's starter templates at no cost. Pro and Agency raise how many of your own you can save (10, then unlimited), the same shape as the active Brief limit itself.
